ADCB / Abu Dahbi Commercial Bank

We won this business with the pitch work and immediately launched a new branding effort and advertising campaign in the UAE. A few print ads below. Special thanks to Han Lin and Tom Sebanc, my partners on this stuff.

dICEHOUSES - The Art Shanty Projects

My good pal Mike Haeg and I built five houses on Medicine Lake in Plymouth, MN in collaboration with the Art Shanty Projects during the winter of 2009. Over 10,000 vistiors came to the exhibit to play games and be a part of the project.

Read more about it here on Boing Boing.

The dICEHOUSES blog

Basilica Block Party

We did some pro-bono work for the oldest Basilica in the nation. Campaign included ads, rock posters, radio spots, a website, the usual social media suspects, a twitter account, and a 3 song EP of the Basilica Choir singing versions of some of more famous songs by the headlining acts.

Poster Artist: David Schwen

NBC / Sci-Fi Channel: Eureka

We created a twitter application for a character in the show Eureka.

Article about it here.

And a Twitterview here.

Travelers Insurance

Who knew some simple agriculture insurance ads could be so fun?

ARTCRANK Poster

I screenprinted 50 posters in honor of the 2009 ARTCRANK show near my house.

NBA

Where amazing happens.

HP: Paulo Coelho, The Witch Of Portobello

Print ads, spot, and trailer for Paulo's contest asking readers to help turn his book into a feature-length film. This work supported a shortlisting for a Cannes Titanium in 2008. Photography by Stan Musilek.

Doritos Collisions

Missy Elliott makes a collision. We sold the website concept through first, the TV spot after. (Note: Site is no longer live. Production version is janky. Apologies.)

Emerald Nuts: The last of the acrostics

I helped pitch and win this business in 2003. This campaign was for the 2006 Superbowl. Three spots and some fun stuff on their site.

Haagen-Dazs Mayan Chocolate

We worked with Mike Kellogg on this one (love that guy). Really nice 3D stuff and some fun interaction. Felt like Myst at the end.

Emerald Nuts: Robert Goulet's Snooze Bar

In loving memory of Robert Goulet. Below are some sites we did with Robert for Emerald Nuts.

Robert Goulet was a wonderful kind, gentle man. He will be missed and remembered dearly.

Saturn: X Games

Some local spots for Saturn during the X Games.

Help Me Get Random With Lady Sovereign

In June of 2006, I helped my buddy Zach Canfield raise some cash to go on a date with Lady Sovereign. Result: 3.1 million hits, $10,000, home page of yahoo!, Spin.com, and a feature on E!–all in 30 days.

Elizabeth Arden: Daytona 500

Stock cars, cologne, and a NASCAR Champion spokesperson. This one was a doozy. Fortunately, they saw a 300% increase in sales during the holiday season.

Saturn: Sky

I was asked to shoot some footage for their new convertible. We shot in Hawaii – the perfect place to shoot cars. The sun remains at 30ยบ from the horizon for hours. Most of the footage ended up in the brand spots a few weeks later. Below is just a quick edit.

Asian Art Museum

Here's where my background in Pacific Rim Art History came in handy. Posters and outdoor work for the Asian Art Museum.

Specialized

This was an interesting project. We've had these guys as a pro-bono account for what seems like forever. They had never done anything interactive before, so my partner and I came up with these microsites to show off their new bikes and have some fun.

We launched the sites and Specialized recorded their first profitable year. Soon after, we were asked to bring their corporate website into the 21st century. I’m happy to say that we've been doing award winning work ever since and the relationship has never been better.

The Specialized folks are completely insane. They're just bikers. It was fun getting to know all of them.

Take a tour of their facility here. The front door code is 1974, the year they were founded. Try to find the "Cowboy" video. That guy IS Specialized. Mike Sinyard makes a few appearances as well.

eBay: The power of all of us

Website for the campaign which won some awards in 2005. I like making sites that mess with demension. This one had some fun paralaxing effects.

HP + Dreamworks

Site for the HP and Dreamworks relationship, a part of the Plus campaign. Nice flash effects from Erik Natzke. Good guy. Click on Shrek when you get to the site.

Goodyear: Eagle F1

This was a fun one. We were the first to use the FlashCom server for commercial purposes. Three cars, three european tracks, one legendary driver, twelve lip-stick cams, multiple music and sfx tracks, a dynamic dealer locator, a bunch of awards, and the best selling tire for Goodyear in years.

Feature article in Commarts.

Adobe: Acrobat

PDFs are used everyday, all over the world, yet no one really considers how greatly they impact our daily working world. The fact is, PDFs are perfect little packages–bundled up and ready for opening. We turned the Acrobat logo on it's side and created a present. The treatment of this logo inspired the entire campaign: icons, print, TV. When you received a PDF, you received a gift.

Here's how the idea translated to the spot.

Goodby, Silverstein & Partners

I built the first website for GSP. Then, 4 years later, they asked me to build an updated version.

MTV Music Video Awards

Did this campaign a while back in 1998. Posters, outdoor, and print.
